What's included
Discover the Japanese art of Kokedama and learn how to create your own beautiful “moss ball” plant from scratch. During this hands-on workshop, you'll be guided step by step through the process, from preparing the soil mixture and shaping the ball to wrapping it in moss and giving your Kokedama its final look.
You'll also learn how to care for your Kokedama at home, including watering, light and simple maintenance tips to help your plant thrive.
No previous plant experience is needed — just come ready to get your hands a little dirty!
You'll create your very own Kokedama: a living plant arrangement where the roots are wrapped in a ball of soil and moss instead of being placed in a traditional pot.
Grab your plant, shape and wrap your Kokedama by hand, and add your own personal touch to make it uniquely yours.
At the end of the workshop, you'll take home a beautiful handmade Kokedama ready to display, hang or give as a very special gift.
Everything you need to create your Kokedama is provided, so you don't need to bring anything with you.
Your workshop includes:
-
A plant for your Kokedama
-
All soil, moss and materials
-
All tools needed during the workshop
-
Step-by-step guidance throughout the experience
-
Kokedama care tips to take home
-
Your finished Kokedama to bring home with you
Most importantly, expect a relaxed and creative experience where you can slow down, work with your hands and enjoy some time surrounded by plants.
