Hey, I’m Fabrizia, the founder of Youplant Amsterdam!
I’m originally from Italy but have been calling the Netherlands home since 2009. My love for plants has been growing for years (along with my collection!), and in 2019 I decided to mix two of my favorite things—plants and bringing people together—and I hosted the first plant swap.

After working for more than 15 years in various positions within international companies, I understood that what truly made me happy was bringing people together.
Five years ago, I realised I didn’t want to spend my days behind a screen from 9 to 5. I wanted to create something more meaningful for myself. At the time, plants had already become a big interest of mine, and I felt inspired to create something that could bring plant lovers together.
My mission is to organise a variety of events where everyone feels welcome and can connect with plants, people and nature.
I organise different kind of experiences such as swap parties, markets and creative workshops. ​​
​Besides plants, I love thrifting with my partner. I love to collect vintage Ikea items (I even went to visit the Ikea museum in Sweden).
We also love Copenaghen and Danish design and we try to go back every year in summer to visit a huge flea market.​
I’m a big fan of Nintje (Miffy) as well - did you know she was created by a Dutch designer?
